The cost of a full service water meter installation shall be determined by whether the water meter installation is located on the same side of the street as the watermain providing water service to the property ("the Short Side") or on the opposite side of the street from the watermain providing water service to the property ("the Long Side") as follows: | ||||

Installation rates for 3-inch ECR/WP meters and larger in the District shall be based on an actual cost basis. Any party applying for the installation of a meter shall be required to pay the District a deposit as set forth below to cover the approximate cost of District administration, supervision, materials and labor for such installation as set forth in the District's current schedules of rates and charges. If the actual cost of service installation exceeds such deposit, the party shall be invoiced any additional costs not covered by the deposit. If the actual cost of service installation is less than a deposit made by such party, the District shall refund the District and the actual cost and the deposit amount to the applicant within forty-five (45) days of such installation and determination of final installation costs by the District. | ||||
